Having attended 5 expeditions with Matthew across the world I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. Every expedition is filled with energy and adventure. Matthew makes sure you experience the best possible dive sites at each location to give you the best chance to see marine species and behaviors few will ever see. On each expedition you will also be a part of something special in leaving the location you visit better than you found it through either conservation, education or giving back to the local community.

Of all things, I can assure you that you will leave with not just life long memories but life long friends that you will remain in contact with for years to come, as I have. Some of what I consider my best friends in this world were met on these trips and we have attended several trips together since.

From Bonaire, La Ventana, La Paz, Cabo Pulmo, Komodo Island, the Maldives, and the Philippines to wherever I join Matthew and Icosa Expeditions next…I can't wait to meet some of you there!

We actually started diving because we wanted to be part of Icosa's expeditions, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we've ever made. Every trip has been an unforgettable adventure, and some of the most incredible underwater encounters and discoveries we've ever experienced have all been with Icosa. Matthew is an exceptional expedition leader who genuinely goes above and beyond to make sure every detail runs smoothly. No matter what comes up, he's always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everyone feels included, has an amazing experience, and gets the most out of every single dive and every day of the expedition. What makes Icosa Expeditions special is the perfect balance of professionalism, exploration, and a shared sense of adventure. Every expedition feels unique, and we've made memories we'll never forget. We couldn't recommend Icosa more highly, and we're already counting down the days until our next trip!

After my first trip to Komodo with Matthew, I knew right away it wouldn't be my last. So, for my second trip, I joined Icosa again, this time to the Maldives, and it was just as incredible. Everything was perfectly organized, the dive sites were outstanding, and the group was amazing. Two unforgettable trips with breathtaking underwater experiences and so many great memories. I'm already looking forward to the next one. Highly recommended!

Joining Matthew's Baja expedition was one of the most unforgettable adventures I have ever had. What started as excitement for an extraordinary ocean experience quickly became much more meaningful, especially because Matthew felt like a genuine friend from the beginning. His passion, knowledge, and respect for the ocean were evident in every conversation, briefing, and moment on the water. He created an incredible atmosphere where the group could connect, learn, share the adventure, and fully appreciate the wildlife around us. The diving, boat days, and raw beauty of Baja gave me a much deeper connection to the ocean than I expected. What stood out most was that marine conservation is clearly not just Matthew's work, it is his real purpose in life. I left with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and huge respect for both Matthew and the ocean he works so hard to protect.

One of my best trips ever! It was packed with amazing dives, sightseeing, great company, and a wonderful atmosphere, a well-planned itinerary to say the least. As a female solo traveler, I always felt safe and looked after by Matthew and all the dive guides. This peace of mind was a huge reason why the trip was so incredible, and I will definitely be back for more adventures like this one!
