Our Impact
The ocean is under pressure from climate change, overfishing, untreated sewage, and overtourism. We see it on every trip. Reefs we've been diving for years don't look the way they used to.
Divers say take only photos, leave only bubbles. We don't think that's enough anymore. We want to leave every place a little better than we found it, protecting what remains and helping rebuild what has already been lost.

The organizations we support
Nusa Penida, Indonesia
A coral restoration NGO that turned a kilometre and a half of rubble into one of the largest restoration sites in the country. The local community built it, and they train Indonesians from across the country to restore their own reefs.
How we support them
We donate, tell their story, and on expedition you plant a coral in the nursery yourself alongside their marine biologists.
La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico
An affiliate project of the Manta Trust, founded by three scientists studying why mobula rays gather off Baja in the tens of thousands. Rather than fight the fishing communities, they train fishermen as ecotourism captains and data collectors, so a living mobula is worth more than a dead one.

We donate to their research, and on our Baja expedition the scientists present to our group directly.
Alor, Indonesia
Nautika works three problems at once: restoring the reef with Reef Stars, building livelihoods so families are not forced to choose between eating and protecting the water, and running community recycling that cuts pollution. Not separate projects. One idea.
How we support them
We're partners on an upcoming film. We donate, plant Reef Stars alongside their team, and support their community programmes on the ground in Alor.
Bonaire, Dutch Caribbean
Since 1991, STCB has monitored the nests of hawksbill, green, and loggerhead turtles across Klein Bonaire and the southern beaches, running in-water surveys, tagging turtles, and responding when one is in trouble.

We donate, join their monitoring and tagging patrols in the water, and sit in on their presentations so our travelers understand what protecting a species takes.
